Why do you always need to learn new Technologies?

Hi… everyone, it seems that am back to share my opinions, ideas, and feelings…

Today’s topic was so weird to me, three months ago. My background is biology, working as a biological engineer in the dairy industry… Have no idea about this field to fully immersed in that world.

Now, I’m a student full-stack javascript, my PC can’t be shut down more than two hours per day. So dealing all day with code and talking with my friends about technologies make me notice that technologies are growing so fast. I mean in the past, I didn’t feel that speed of growth or maybe I didn’t have enough knowledge but now I am aware that updating my knowledge is mandatory.

Why do you always need to learn new Technologies?

In this IT industry, every day anywhere around the world developers never stop cracking new technologies. So as a student, learning many technologies, I have to know if those technologies are still updating or they may be past their prime.

In addition, learning new technologies will strengthen our knowledge, train our brain to practice new skills which improve our logical thinking.

I think personally, that change is the first part of a job in the IT field. So, you have to have that skill to always update your idea, skills,… But also, to train your mindset that if any idea doesn’t exist today that because we just do not reach that level and everything is possible.

The first thing that comes after loving your job as a developer, is to work hard and keep up with all growth of that field, to know more and be better.

I will just add one more thing, after your passion which is not an option, in that field there is a huge competition, so to find your place between all those very talented developers your weapon is your vast knowledge.
